Holidays are already here and sure, you have a lot of plans, but are all of them possible during this strange summer?

In this post, we are going to give you some tips in case you were thinking of traveling abroad, or if you want to spend your summer days learning English and talking with someone from another country.

First: Leave your self-consciousness at home. The best way to learn English is practice, practice, practice! Do not be shy and try to speak as much as you can.

For example, if you are in a bar this could be an excellent opportunity to learn different words for food or drinks. “Do you want a beer? “, ” Let’s try the little fried fishes”, “Red wine with lemon, please”, “I’m dying for a piece of Spanish omelet”.

Second: If you are in a very touristic place, why not try speaking with people from different countries and get used to all kinds of accents? Besides native English speakers, you should talk to tourists from countries like Germany, France, Italy or even Japan and use English to communicate.

Third: Take the opportunity to read (in English, of course) about the place where you are. History, culture, traditions. It is a different way to keep English on your mind, and you should not waste it.

Finally: Relax and enjoy! Holidays are only once a year, so kick back and relax! You’ve earned it.
